Sponsoring Research at Boston Children’s

Our research scientists and clinicians actively pursue innovations to solve the most pressing challenges in pediatric medicine today. TIDO helps move these solutions from the laboratory through pre-clinical development and clinical trials to the marketplace. Fostering connections in industry are indispensable to this process.

Boston Children’s is open to many forms of relationship with outside industry, and TIDO is here to create and facilitate these partnerships.

We encourage engagement with Boston Children’s scientists in three ways:

  • Formal alliances: We actively maintain three alliance programs and are looking for new alliances to build. These garner the most attention from the hospital community.
  • Periodic Visits: TIDO hosts events and meet-and-greets for industry scientists to connect with our academic scientists. We strongly believe that meaningful scientific interactions provide the basis for successful partnerships.
  • “Ad Hoc”: Our most flexible arrangement with industry partners, arising from outreach from our office to find a development partner for a particular promising technology

Through partnerships with Boston Children’s, you will not only work with world-renown scientists but you will also gain access to our excellent cores, biobank, and specialty centers.
