Alfred Kemp is a Program Coordinator for the Therapeutic & Medical Device Accelerator (TMDA) within Boston Children’s Hospital’s Technology & Innovation Development Office (TIDO). In this role, he serves as a central point of coordination across the accelerator’s operations — managing funding cycles, bridging communication between principal investigators, external advisors, licensing managers, and other key stakeholders, and helping drive the processes that move innovations from the research bench toward commercialization.
Prior to joining Boston Children’s Hospital, Alfred served as Executive Assistant to the Chief of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Heart and as Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He also worked as an Editorial Assistant at the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Acting and Communications from Northwestern University.
Outside of work, Alfred is a professional stage, TV, film and voice actor.
