James joined the Technology and Innovation Development Office in 2019 where he worked as the Material Agreement Specialist, managing, drafting, and negotiating material transfer agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other agreements in support of the Contracts team. This year, he transitioned to the Licensing Specialist role.

Before joining TIDO, James spent a couple of years as a research technician in the Hematology/Oncology department at Boston Children’s Hospital. In the lab, he worked primarily to identify genetic drivers of leukemia and targetable therapeutic vulnerabilities. He holds a BS in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
