Greg is the Senior Director of Business Development and Licensing in the Technology & Innovation Development Office (TIDO) at Boston Children’s Hospital. He oversees the licensing and contracts teams who are responsible for managing and licensing the hospital’s intellectual property to ensure Boston Children’s innovations are commercialized to benefit patients. The team also supports the hospital’s research endeavor by negotiating research agreements with various innovative companies and other academics institutions.
Greg began working at TIDO in 2015 and was most recently the Director of Technology Transactions, overseeing the contracts team. He brings a wealth of legal and scientific research experience to the Senior Director role. Prior to joining TIDO, he worked in a hematopoietic stem cell lab studying the mouse bone marrow microenvironment and helped to validate a novel imaging technology, known as laser scanning cytometry, under Dr. Leslie Silberstein. Greg holds a JD from Boston University School of Law and a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut. Greg is a patent attorney admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
